Velocys developed reactor technology to transform waste carbon sources into jet fuel. These sources can be carbon rich household waste, agriculture waste or forest residues. The reactor technology produces synthetic gas that is then transformed into long chains of hydrocarbons that can be used as liquid transport fuels.These fuels can be used without changes to engines or infrastructure. When the Velocys technology is combined with carbon capture it can create negative carbon emission fuels.
