Veja is a sneaker brand which combines ecological materials, economic justice and social projects. It uses organic cotton for the canvas, sustainable rubber for the soles and various innovative recycled materials. For their vegan sneakers it uses C.W.L., a bio-based leather subsitute made from cotton fabric with a corn-based coating. Their economic justice program includes buying directly from cooperatives and paying a fair price for the raw materials.
