Hip airbag prevents fractures

Wolk is a hip airbag that prevents hip fractures for the elderly. Each year thousands of older people fracture their hip by falling. Sensors monitor the movements and an algorithm detects a fall and inflates the airbag within a tenth of a second. It prevents hospitalization, surgery and long recovery and care. The Wolk can be worn invisibly under the clothes.
