How can you combine agriculture with solar power generation? We already reported on riding solar panels on agricultural land. In The Netherlands there is also another experiment to place vertical solar panels on the land. By placing the panels this way there is still plenty room for cattle to graze or crops to grow. The panels are placed in a southerly direction so the sun shines on the panels in the morning and the evening. Since it is an experiment there are no numbers available yet of the output of the panels. But it is a promising idea to combine agriculture and solar.
